Mandarin
About Our Mandarin Classes
Our Mandarin lessons are available for students in elementary or middle school. We can focus on reading, writing, or conversation based on what the student prefers. Some basic knowledge of mandarin is required in order for lessons to go at a more efficient pace. Students will receive homework after every class which can include reviewing lesson work, reading examples, or writing. If there are any questions on the class work or such, the student or parent can contact the tutor. It is best if the student has:
- Maliping books for the grade level they are taking
- A bit of mandarin experience, whether from Chinese school or at home
Our Mandarin Tutors
Chuning Yang
Chuning is a junior at Lexington High School. She is a fluent in Mandarin, which she speaks at home. She enjoys helping younger kids with Mandarin and other subjects. In her free time, Chuning loves to skateboard, listen to music and play piano, which she runs an Instagram page for.
Qualifications:
- T.A. at a Chinese school
- Speaks Manda
