As many as you want! We will pair your child up with a different tutor for each subject that you sign them up for.
All of our classes take place over Zoom. Additionally, tutors use Google Classroom to assign all homework, assignments, and class notes to their students.
Because classes are online, make sure that your child has a computer and stable internet connection, as well as a Zoom and Google account. If your child wishes to learn out of a specific textbook/resource, such as an AOPS book, please make sure to have the book in hand before classes begin.
Generally, students will have weekly classes, with each class being an hour long. However, you are free to have longer/shorter and more/less frequent classes if you wish. Please communicate with your tutor beforehand about a schedule that works for you.
After each class, tutors are required to email you updates about your child's progress.
Payments should be made at the end of every month using this donation link. Both your tutor and our Finance team will alert you when your payment is due, so you don't have to worry too much about it! For more information about the specific pricing of classes, please click here.
At AA Tutoring, we believe it's important for each and every student to get the personal care and education they need. Each of our one-on-one classes are constructed differently based on each student's needs. Our tutors create different curricula, worksheets, projects, and tests for every student to cater to everyone's individual needs and learning styles.
Our tutors are all hand-picked and extremely qualified in the subjects they teach. They range from published authors and award-winning mathematicians to concert pianists and fluent language speakers. Additionally, as former elementary and middle school students ourselves, we know exactly what our students need to learn in order to excel in school.
Classes only cost around $10 - $15 dollars per hour, compared to other tutors who average $50 - $100. Every single penny we make is donated straight to the Mass General Hospital Emergency Relief Fund to help our courageous frontline workers combat the pandemic. Your help makes a difference!
